Hey, do you have to display that head on the base or can you leave it out without any notice?

Hello, no that socket soldier's head seems not to be removable - it was also already attached to the base when i unboxed it.
But those gunfire-impact-outburst-blasts (i am lacking the proper term for it) by heavy arms fire scattered among the base's walls are.
I removed all of them because i felt like though while it was a nice idea it was slightly over the top - it distracted too much from the rest of the scenery & alita/gally - it looks way better, serene & deadlier without imo.
Luckily the pegholes for each one of them are irregularely & uniquely shaped, so they look like normal convincing bullet holes without them. I am already thinking about giving them some soot / grime weathering as well one day..

My order arrived last week. I love the statue, other than the eyes, which are somewhat lifeless. It's a shame they didn't go with glass instead of decals. My other P1 pieces really come alive under good lightning, since their eyes have a nice reflective quality.
Sadly, it arrived damaged in several places. P1 have offered to replace the damaged pieces (providing I destroy the originals) or a 100 dollar voucher for store credit. I'm sure it would cost them practically the value of a whole new statue to replace those parts, since that includes an entirely new base, one whole portrait, and her weapon. At the moment I'm actually cancelling preorders, so store credit isn't very useful to me.
I've attached some images of the most significant damage, which is on the arm attached to the base, and her weapon, which is either missing fragments where the blade is affixed to the hilt, or hasn't been fitted together properly.
Not sure whether to keep her or risk the replacement option...In total this order cost 1150GBP. I'm not too keen on the idea of sanding parts to fit together; wouldn't want to end up with an expensive dud.

Replacement parts can take up to 6 months! Mine did. My ultimate version had two breaks on delivery. Hair piece and arm shield on her weapon arm. Parts arrived. The head was fine but the weapon arm did not fit the peg socket at all. They told me to sand it.
If I were you I would ask for replacement parts and DO NOT destroy the originals until your parts arrive and are satisfoactory to you.

Damn, that sucks... I'm still waiting on my regular version, dreading damages now.

I have a P1 piece been waiting months to replace a part too. It stinks to wait years for something, get it, and then wait again for it to be whole.

I think they want me to destroy the damaged parts completely before they will ship replacements. They also told me that customs sometimes charge fees.
