Weakling needed a new hobby and found one

Just started with collecting statues in August 2010. Have not, and probably will not, commit to just one brand or sculptor or line of statues. For now I buy what I like and more importantly, have room for. Will buy an IKEA Detolf to display them properly in a few weeks time. Here is my small but (to me) wonderful collection:

This first photo is a bit cheating. Eizo I got with the game, Hellboy came with the DVD and that little witch thing to the right of Eizo in the back came with a game as well. The two Royo pieces are by far my favorite ones in this picture.

Catwoman was the very first piece I bought. Shazam is the latest addition to my collection. I do seem to like statues of girls dressed in something blue.

At first I did not want to have big statues, because of the limited space I have. But I totally fell in love with the Conan one the first time I saw it. I ... just ... could ... not ... resist.

Another rule I had set beforehand and violated just as quickly: no busts, just statues. Saw this Black Cat one at a fair and was sold.

And after I took these photos Catwoman fell out of my hands and chipped her ear ... argh! Luckily its on the back of one ear and mostly paint that has come off, so not too visible when displayed.

Welcome! And nice start so far. I agree with comments amount no big statues due to space, but it's hard to resist when you see those Sideshow pieces in person.

Welcome to the Forum Weakling. You found the right hobby. Be prepared to have an empty wallet because this an expensive hobby that will certainly keep your bank account low in funds.

Btw, nice pieces you got there bro.

Congrats on your collection. Your going to need more then 1 detolf. Just a note when u handled SSC statues. 2 hands and always one at the base. Hopefully u can repair her without ant issues.
