I think either face is fine, for me it was just too big and with a round base you need basically a 2' shelf to display it. Don't have the room I REALLY wish they would have done this one 1/6

I do too...at least going by this comparison pic.

The original missed the resemblance to the original illo, to me. Too simple and not in the right direction. This looks like a change for the better.

I'm a little concerned about the coloring. Apparently it is the exact same piece that was on display at the Javitz center, but the painting looks dramatically different to me. I don't understand how studio lighting could skew the hue and tonal qualities that dramatically. I hope in person it looks warmer and lighter.

Happy mine is already paid off, but the wait to get it is kind of an annoyance now. I think in the future I'll be more inclined to just pay at the point of purchase minus a small deposit.

as for size- it will be a pain in the ass to pack up and ship for resale but for my display purposes I'm very happy this is 1/4 sale and actually wish it were a little higher vertically. I don't use pre-fab Ikea cubicles to display stuff so I have a little more room to work with. I wish I had a little more as I'd love to get the DD, but that one is just out of my space range. Huntress is going to go on the same cabinet where I've had Galactus and the Wolverine LSF briefly. I loved the impact and presence from the size of those, so anything large and dominant like this is a plus for me. Width and depth will be a little more claustrophobic with this, but we'll see.

Glad that there is the option of getting her without the cats. Sad that now I can't get the temptation out of my head.

Wow, I think the new face is a big improvement. I can understand the complaints that the new face doesn't have as much intensity as the old one, but the old one didn't have any depth to it. Especially the eyes. I may have to double down on this and the DD. Hope they do more Frazetta items. My username comes from a Frazetta character from the animated movie Fire and Ice, and later brought to life in the comic Jaguar God by Glen Danzig.

I feel like the old face better reflected the soft details of the painting, it sort of looked sketched to me.

I agree too and think the first face reflected the Frazetta art more

Huge improvement with the face. There should be no regrets on the part of the design team.
