Of course it is, and i like it much more overall than this.
I love what Chronicle wanted to do with this piece, with bringing pieces of the maquette into it and with what i think it's their better painted T-Rex prototype yet, but i find the overall look frankensteinish atm.

really believe that's the SW maquette scanned? With that tail, skin details and those proportions?
Oh well.
The only things from SW on this piece are head and first part of the neck, i think.
And maybe just a portion of the lower legs, those that didn't needed to be touched.. a confirmation from Chronicle would be appreciated, but it's unlikely anyway.

is, it's missing a whole (little) portion and it's too thin in the first part, like if it's not in proper scale with the body.
Looks very different from every JP T-Rex ever produced, from SWS maquettes of all scales, to original sculpts like the Breakout and things like Kenner toys or Papo.
