Statue arrive warped, is it safe to reshape it?

Hello,

As you can see in the image, batmans cape is prevent the joker from slotting into the peg hole.

Is it possible (and safe) to bend the cape into shape after applying heat? If so, would you suggest a hair dryer or hot water?

I can return the statue for a refund, so I am hesitant to do anything before I know if it's possible, and the risks of damaging the paint job.

Appreciate any advice.

If you can get a replacement, do it..don?t use hot water as it will probably mess up the paint. Blow dryer works on thinner parts well, at least from my experience.
Reach out to the seller for sure, before attempting anything, that?s for sure. Good luck and Welcome

Welcome to the forum! [ and getting a replacement is a better option than trying to fix it yourself]......

Can you show more pics? Can you put the Joker in before Batman?

As far as heating it up, if you can't get a replacement, I would buy a variable power heat gun, much better than hair dryer or water and many are fairly cheap.

I can see what appears to be a peg that needs inserting further. Is that the issue?

It seems strange to me that Batman's cape is so bent that the Joker can't go into the peg hole. Do you have more photos ?

I would send the statue back instead of trying something with heat
