I like the idea… but just looks cheap. Skin too plain. Face looks generic and flat. Looks like a $300 piece from 2005.
And what’s going on with the spear? Just appears no thought was given to this

If you didn't tell me it was XM I would think it's an ARH quality statue...

The spear is supposed to be slanted inwards and resting on the branch. Maybe just inserted poorly. Never noticed the knife thing before. Why the hell is it just stuck to her thigh? Don't care if the art was like that. How do you explain that?

As I understand it, the artist himself contributed to the design of the statue. He wanted it that way

They did the same thing with their geisha Poison Ivy. The fan arm was originally seductively in front of her, as if she was lightly fanning herself (like you would do with a fan), and they changed it to be outstretched to her side and made no sense. It looked so stupid.

Statue does look a bit awkward but I did like the other portrait and pose better where she's holding the dino as it's pulling on her top, be curious to see that one... that being said the portrait on on this one looks great IMO... And I don't see any painting or quality issues that would make me think this was cheap or done in 2005.
It could be they had to rush this out for the comic con and they're still tweaking it, it would make more sense if the bottom of the spear was touching the branch... they might still change it...

I want to like it ….
I mean I REALLY want to like it …
And maybe I can look over the lack of paint detail ( kind of spoiled with P1 skin texturing ) … maybe that’s how it’s supposed to look.
But then ..
$1.2 k?
Red Sonja is $1.6k. Red Sonja is 1/3 and better paint and detail IMO.
On the other hand … Jungle Queen has nips.
$400 nips though? Eh…
Doesn’t compute

Nice butt, and overall pretty nice looking in general. I think it's best not to overthink it sometimes especially considering the subject matter. Just like a video game or anime character with a giant sword hanging off their back it really doesn't matter lol. The lighting from those pictures definitely washes out the details and isn't flattering. I think a lot of statues will look quite poor in that setup. Is it worth the price? Nope. It never is though, so that's no surprise. There is virtually no figure that justifies pushing a $1k pricetag no matter how much you try to convince yourself otherwise.

Justification comes from the size of your bank account... The less you have the less justification you have for buying it, the same goes for a lot of things like $200k sports cars, $10 million dollar houses, etc...etc...
One could argue a $50 figuarts action figure is overpriced compared to a $20 Hasbro action figure...
