WIP CS Moore Magdalena Statue

The Magdalena (Original) is the first and one of my favorites in my collection.

This new one is awesome and I'll definitely buy it.

I love the pose. It's dynamic and I like the positioning of her katanas.

My only complaint is that its only 7 inches. However, I'm more than confident that the finished piece will more than make up for the lack of size.

It's already been discussed, this won't be 7 inches. Clay states in his blog, that this is the preliminary mock up stage he does in 7" format.

Not to jump too far ahead, but I wonder if they'll be a variant piece.

I think this statue is going to be pretty great. Dene did an excellent job on the first piece, but it'll be great to have a Mag done by Clay in my collection. That's why I hope he eventually does The Darkness as well.

That's possible! I love this new pose, it's awesome. I love the arms with the swords in the cross formation, and I totally love the huge flowing cloak.

I had the original Magdalena (with the huge base) and sold her, but kept my Magdalena AP! I loved the glossy red, deep black and metallic gold.

I hope this one is a much darker blue/black than the first Magdalena.

If there would be a variant of this piece... I would like to see mags with her armor but in a bikini style... like what she has been appearing sometimes (though I know its really out of character since she is a nun)

That's a great idea. I feel like that could be completely doable considering how Clay resculpted the Dark Ivory piece. We can hope.

"Hi Ryan! Glad you like the statue! She will be the same 1/6 scale as our other statues. The pose mock-up is done smaller as it's just a preliminary study to help decide the look of the statue. Thanks for asking! "

I like it a lot. Already have the A/P from before so don't know if I want 2 Magdalenas but this does look like it will be tempting that is for sure.

I agree Ice but thats what makes her so Hot! but to poke fun would you perfer her in her habit, not me :lol.

Yes JSeals Clay does have the talent, hands down and it would have been Great if he could have pulled this off.
