Custom Dazzler, Blue Costume.

I am so very happy to add my very first custom Dazzler to my X-Men line. I have been waiting for this piece fort soooooo long and have been wanting to add an "X-Men team appropriate Dazzler" to my roster.

I have not yet completed taking all the pictures yet of her that I want to take but I needed to get her off of the floor and at the very least in the spot on my second shelf.

She has two light up features as well. Those two lights on the base shine upward and hit her legs/thigh area. It is battery operated and has batteries already inside the base but it also comes with an A/C adapter to plug in as well. It is from Brazil so the plug came in as a foreign plug so I will need to get an adapter converter if I wish to use that plug but for now here she is.

I am sooooooo very happy with how she turned out.

Thank you so much IcedDog. I truly appreciate that.

I truly love how this piece turned out.

I will post more updated pics soon.

The lights also have a strobe feature as well.

Looks great! the jacket looks like leather, i assume it is sculpted?
The Dazzle FX on the hand look good.
I think the Sideshow Collectibles Dazzler dazzles more, assuming the factory can match the prototype.

GM Ukshaun and thank you for the feedback.

The entire piece is sculpted. Yes, I agree, they did a fantastic job on the folds and texture on the jacket. It looks very convincing that it could in fact be real leather. Love the little zipper details on the jacket as well as on the sleeves. The folds and such on the body of the costume as well as that great attention to detail came out amazing. I tried to take a few close up pics of that as well. I wanted the first set of pics to be taken outside in natural lighting so that you could all see the dazzle/sparkle affects and the true colors overall.

Sideshow's Dazzler is also wonderful and amazing in of itself for sure but yes, these are two completely different sculpts, concepts and pieces in their entirely. I think the true Dazzler fan would be very pleased with both of these pieces in their collections (both this one and the new SS one) but for me and my collection, I really wanted to have a Dazzler that depicted for when she was actually a part of the X-Men and fought along side them. For me, back in the day when I collected comics, this was the version that I recall (roughly) for when she was a part of the team. The other version with her having shorter hair was also the version I recall as well. In addition this one fits better on the shelving space that I currently have available and did want to display her along with the team.

I may still grab the SS Dazzler but if I do, I will have to have her set up in/on a solo display maybe with a CGC issue of her first appearance. Who knows..? The SS one is tall though......from what I recall about 30 inches high. Would have to either make a custom display or have her in the corner like Baby was put in Dirty Dancing. LOL!!!

This custom Allison Blaire is just at 20.5 inches tall.

Soooo happy with her.

I agree on the portrait for sure.

As you know a portrait can really make or break a piece regardless of the scale, details, etc. This portrait is superb. The sculpt is very well balanced and the paint application was very well blended and added.

She has just the right amount of sass as well as sexy confidence in her portrait. Love it.
