Agreed, They take away from it more than enhance it in my opinion. Would be terrific if they were optional.

Well, My Amazon order for the green skinned variant said it was getting ready for shipping on Friday. Now it shows my order for the green variant has been cancelled.

That is odd. I wonder what is going on.
Looks like they are being flipped by people in Japan.
I am going to assume the shipment is just delayed.

Yeah, see them selling on eBay right now for 2-3 times what I was PO'd to get mine for.

I don't know if it's worth it to you but sometimes you can get a few dollars in credit from them when that happens.

We had stock arrive in Australia about 2-3 weeks ago.

I'm not sure if there are any retailers down here still with stock but shipping would no doubt kill it for you U.S. based folks. Very few stores seemed to have it available.

I got a "delay" notice for my Amazon order, but they have not yet cancelled it. I ordered pretty early, too. Guess we'll see what happens. Maybe Amazon wasn't the right place to buy...

I'd be bummed if I didn't get it, but frankly more irritated at just the failure of the whole process.
Though, with the price of these now, including this one, my disappointment would be limited. Honestly, with the ridiculous new pricing, I might quit this line and sell off some of what I have.

Looks like Amazon changed it to "temporarily sold out." So there must be allocation issues, unsure how many they will get.
