Lawless 9/10 besides Shia LaBeouf this story is really compelling and kept my attention from start to finish even Shia wasnt too awful. Based on a true story and real people its a great story about life choices and the consequences of our actions and how times have changed.

Gravity ~ 6/10
it was pretty...but didn't really hold my interest until nearly the end of the film. I'm sure if I'd have seen it originally on the big screen (or IMAX), my opinion would have been very different.

Dawn of the planet of the apes 7.5/10
The special effects were great but the script leaned its back too much on cliches. I would preferred to see how the virus affected people more rather than being told in five minutes with short scenes.

Every post apocalyptic movie is about some virus infecting people. Same ol', same ol'. Glad they focused on the Apes more. I could watch a whole movie just about their lives.

Nuclear war is a more popular reason than viruses in most post apocalyptic films.

I don't think I can even think of any that have to do with nuclear warfare. I can come up with a dozen shows and movies that are about some kind of virus though.

I think so. I took my 13 year old daughter with a friend of hers, and they both loved it. A few bad words here and there (from some bad guys), but not sexual innuendo.
