That was very disappointing with a terrible story and writing. Maybe a 5 out of 10.

I'll be honest, had I watched this in a theater it would have been doubly disappointing.

Don't get me wrong it does have some redeeming moments, just not enough to make it worth it.

I really did want to like this movie too.

Given the director helped write this I am concerned they have assigned her to the SW Rogue Squadron film.

I believe her father was a fighter pilot who died in the service. I'm inclined to think she may have a surprise or two left in her.... unless she Mary Sues this film to death.

I wouldn't get too concerned just yet. Not every film is Raiders of the Lost Ark, sometimes you get Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Everyone is allowed mistakes.

That one scene in the truck convoy where she grabs the two kids and falls to the road, it was so OBVIOUS that the kids were mannequin dummies, their arms and legs didn't move at all. As a director why would you allow such an obvious flaw into the movie, makes the movie feel cheap.

Blows me away they're people giving it 5/5 stars on some sites saying it was the best movie in years, blah blah blah...

I’ve got some issues...mainly with the flight scene, but why in the hell would Steve be impressed and taken aback by fireworks? Those have only been around for centuries.

And I despite how mediocre (at best) the movie is - Gal is so damn beautiful and Kristen is pretty and I wanted all of her 80s fun clothes.
