They just stated on Facebook that the verbiage of the variant having sculpted hair is incorrect, and they were all produced with the wig hair.

Interesting because the pics of the hair on the SSC site look sculpted to me.

I have a feeling the young Michael Myers window is wrong too. They’re advertising the proto likeness to the actor but I’d bet it’s actually the production change due to likeness rights. Need more in hand pics to confirm. But this is shaping up as more of the same a piece to avoid variant or not. I was answered by one of their reps on IG that the images shown are of production piece insinuating that the likeness would be there. They have since deleted their reply to me.

If both the pics and description were wrong, that seems like a big screw up.

PCS dropped the ball on this one. First the slasher debacle and now this.

For me it’s losing the likeness rights to the actor of young Myers from proto to production which is the biggest issue. Then also losing the color on all the windows. I liked it better with color. What they did with the greyscale came out like complete garbage imo. It looks absolutely awful. There was also question as to the accuracy of the head sculpt from 1/3 to 1/4. I didn’t have an issue with this necessarily but that existed in the timeline of this piece. And finally, the mask isn’t white enough.
Now you have this silver screen edition and they’ve made mistakes on the description by saying it has sculpted hair and showing the original sculpt of the young Myers window with likeness to the actor. I’m betting what you get is actually the changes that were made there to the production pieces where the likeness in the face gets muddled out.
Too many mistakes for me. Seems like they just said well this is what we can do, this is what we have and this is what they’ll get. They want your money for this thing but seems like they stopped giving this the attention to detail it should’ve been given. Now the variant just seems like a cash grab.

Well that is misleading for sure, because all of the pics in on the SS site shows sculpted hair, but it says synthetic hair in the description. I'm not sure if the description was changed after the fact. I don't understand how a mistake like this happens.
