Tom Grummett Commissions - Any Interest?
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to get to know Tom Grummett, as he is a local artist and we frequent the same local comic shops. In recent weeks I've had a chance to get to know Tom a little better and help him with the sale of some art to a fellow forum member (you know who you are!).
This led earlier this week to a discussion regarding commission potentials. Tom is interested in doing some commission work, and I've volunteered to co-ordinate such a list. At Tom's request I'm putting this out to get an idea of any potential interest.
So here's the details - we haven't yet set pricing, however Tom's prices have always been quite reasonable and consistent with other list's we've seen on the board. We need your feedback here to make this happen. You response to the poll does not commit you to anything. Once the poll is finished, we will make an announcement regarding the list, should it go ahead.
For those of you not familiar with Tom's work, he is currently contracted with Marvel, and currently is finishing up the Chaos Wars: Dead Avengers mini. Other recent work with Marvel includes runs on X-Men Forever and Exiles. Prior to his work with Marvel, Tom spent time with DC on such titles as Superman, Robin, Superboy, New Titans, Teen Titans and more.

I'd pass on pencils.
I generally prefer pieces inked.
I had a great experience on the recent Ron Lim commission.

You know, I almost put in an option for More than one (aka 6 or 7) just cause I knew you'd jump on it!

Thanks guys. This is something I wanted to do since I've seen Drew and Royd get into this. It's thanks to their breaking the ground that gave me the guts to approach Tom with this.
