I enjoyed this one, it definitely reminded me of Kick Ass but with the violence dialed way up. Looking forward to the next arc.

Daytripper by Gabriel Ba and Fabio Moon... a superb heartwarming ( or stopping rather ) story.. with sweet art. Highly recommended for those gloomy rainy dais where you feel like contemplating life.. or something like it.

I just read the Joker Graphic novel by Bermejo and Azzarello. Was psyched to finally have it, but it did absolutely nothing for me. I thought it was really incoherent, and the only nice art in there is the page where the Joker gets out of the asylum.
I also read DMZ: Friendly fire (I think that's tpb vol. 5?) and that is excellent. Very good stuff. If you're into a bit of society review, morals but also very cool action and just a great story, read it.

Just plowed through a bunch of House of Mystery trades (Vertigo). I found it fairly reminiscent of Fables/Jack of Fables. If those books get a grade of "A," then HoM is a solid B+. Some great dark, twisted stuff (but plenty of light moments, too).

Severed - Scott Snyder & Scott Tuft
Pretty good horror story from the Scott's with some nice art from Attila Futaki. More of a slow burn horror/thiller but it's pretty damn creepy. Worth checking out
