Same here. I think I’m at the end of the line.

I picked up a Retro Cable after all of these years because I felt my X-men collection wasn’t complete without him. He’s a classic.

The last 4 Bowen purchases I made were busts all for eventual MB to FS conversions.

Hey the Stingray bust is plenty big enough to fit right in with the statues. Which busts are you going to customize?

I just got the Stingray mini bust - it is 9 inches tall - fits perfectly with Full Size Bowens

That's one that hasn't gone up much, but always thought it was a beautiful bust.

He had previewed a full-size Stingray statue but it was before he closed up shop and it ended up never getting produced.

I didn't know about that one...that's a shame. The Spiral always sticks out to me for what could've been, but I did get a pretty cool fan art version.

I remember he also had previews of a full size of the Falcon flying, nightcrawler in an action pose with swords, Nighthawk flying and Ant-Man on a flying ant. Now these were all just computer-generated drawings but it is kind of a shame that those will never get made

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Gosh-some of these would have been nice to have seen-even just in concept. I am late to the game and I am trying to pick up some of them now but prices are so high that they are unreachable. BUT the quality of a BOWEN has lasted over 20 years!!

I've noticed over the past decade that the prices on ebay go up and down. They're high right now but I'm sure they will level off in a while. Not saying they will be "cheap" but some items will be more attainable probably. Some BD items stay at a high price though and for good reason. I've tried to get a few busts but we're at a peak in prices right now so I'll wait a little bit.
