I'm happy they went with the Jim Lee suit. It's The best imo. Give it a nice subtle silver look and it will be perfect for me. Looks like she has her right leg pegged into a rock at the shin (similar to the Capt. Marvel PF) and the left leg hanging loose to the side kind of like the Magneto Maquette. I would be okay with that if it turns out to be the case. Simple but effective and sturdy.
I just hope there aren't any tornados anywhere on this statue and that they have Harbottle on this one. He hasn't done a female sculpt I didn't like.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Case in point...

Same art of the 1st issue but different colorists. Storms costume looks more reflective in the new color version and the strong black lines reinforce that quality. And for comparison Colossus looks to have a stronger chrome look in the new color version as well. Storms costume is not white but professor X’s shirt in the background is.

I mean in both pics, her costume is almost darker than Colossus' metal skin. It's clear as day what color it should be. The people who keep arguing that it is white are either a) only familiar with the Animated Series b) colorblind or c) a troll.

Here's another representation of it when Storm was a playable character in various video games such as X-Men Children of the Atom (fighting game where every character was literally based on Jim Lee's designs) and Marvel vs. Capcom.

Here's the full size images of the two X-Men pics you posted. One is the original from the 90's and the other was the anniversary re-coloring (oh and look at her feet - no 7" hooker heels).

To me this

In real life would translate to something like these

And no statue company I know of has used paint to do that look correctly.

I guess it will come down to how much silver they want to add to achieve the look and not have it look terrible.

Most assuredly not the original black costume. It’s the Jim Lee costume.

The mid-thigh boots, belt, cape, shoulder pad and puffy/ruched sleeve are all there.

Wonder if they gave her gloves?
