Yeah, this is in not the last volume of Black Panther, but the previous one that started in 2016. Both volumes, 2016 and 2018, are one big story split in 2 parts though.
But yeah, this wouldn’t be something all the time. I’m glad it plays up her mystical ancestry though because rarely do writers bother with it even though it’s something frequently mentioned in her background.
It’s the implications of it though. Because now she’s the regent of Planet Arakko. Imagine the entire planet of Mars showing faith and devotion…I mean, her hair is already a fricking storm cloud.

What if they’re developing her into a villain? I’ll still love her I won’t care. I wonder what a statue of this gala outfit and hair would look like? She could have a thundercloud head or a switch out tornado head.

I like listening to these comic book and movie reviewers because I like to hear their opinions. Sometimes I don’t agree with them but I like to hear their angle. I listen to a movie review channel called Beyond The Trailer (among others) and sometimes I don’t agree with her (Grace Randolph) like with her initial opinions about Wonder Woman’s gladiator wedge boots (she called them hoooker boots) or what she said about Luca (I love that movie) but I’m still going to listen. I started watching The View since it’s inception so I really like differing opinions. It’s one of the reasons I still come here to read what you all have to say. It’s great fun.

I thought I was going to have something unique to show off. The long wait to see this come to fruition gave Sideshow time to beat me to the punch. This is a custom 1/6 that I have been waiting a couple of years to get. Thought a few of you here would really appreciate it.

Storm is beautiful.
I would buy the one in 1/4 immediately. I especially like that the cape fits the movement with the whirlwind.
