Picard: S3 - 7/10. Old enough to have watched the STTNG series when it first aired. S3 of Picard played on those heartstrings like a world-class musician. And for the most part, I enjoyed being manipulated as such watching these great, older and familiar characters.

The Wire - 10/10.

Still own all the DVDs from years and years ago, so my wife and I went back and rewatched this 5-season series. Holy crap…it may well be the very best TV ever created. It’s like a street level time capsule. Just amazing storytelling, characters and overall television.

I’m still kind of shaking from it.

The Bear (Season 2) - 9.5/10

This show is special. The way some of the scenes are executed is masterful. The subject matter combined with the characters makes for a fascinating watch. Episode 6 (hour long flashback), just wow, and Jamie Lee Curtis better win something for that guest performance.

One of the best TV series I've never seen. It has been in my HBOMAX queue forever. With the current Hollywood strikes, I might have to actually start watching it soon in place of missing new content.

Speaking of MAX, do you not have an account there? I'm only asking to know why you chose to watch the show in SD and not 4K.

Just finished Season 3 of The Mandalorian - it dragged a bit for me midway through the season but I checked back in and really liked the way it finished up in the last 3 episodes. 8/10

I don?t have an account there. We could have watched it on HD through Prime but we?ve owned it on DVD for decades and just used the DVDs since we own them and to capture the feeling of the original pre-HD airing of the show.

My advice is to watch it. You won?t regret it.

Jack Ryan S4 - 6/10

Disappointing last season. I enjoyed the other 3 quite a bit, but this one felt like a let down.
