My Collection
Hey all. Been around for years, collected for years. Actually hit a point in 2016 where I sold my entire collection built around comic statues with some fantasy and pop culture. It was a combo of things. I was in a bad place mentally, going through a divorce and just couldnt find joy in it. Came back in 2018 with solely focusing on fantasy pieces and horror movies, my two loves.
This isnt a final build. The shelves you'll see will go around the entire room. Both closets will be gutted and made into displays/library too. The stair well (wont be pictured) will be lined with art prints. But I finally got one side of the room built with shelves and my future wife begged me to clear the extra bed room where all my statues were staged. It will be her library so I needed to clear it out. I have much more in storage and much more coming, but have to build the other shelves first. I'll add lighting to the shelves too eventually. Anyhow, sorry so long!!! Just wanted to express my reasoning. Critiques and ideas are welcome.

I'll start with some Court of the Dead. This is just a place holder for when I build shelves on this side of the room.

More place holders. A table in one of the closets that will be for Tweeterhead's MoTU. Also, a few horror pieces on my humidor. Sorry for the window light. I'm not great at pictures.

I know the pictures are garbage and rushed. Once the room is fully set up and built, I'll take cleaner pics with light controlled. Until then, I was just excited since for the first time, I've finally had a display of some sort lol.
Enjoy!

looks great brother!
as you know, i really love that style of shelving and you did an awesome job with them. you made some really great use of space, everything has room to breathe and compliments each other.
i can imagine your anxiousness wanting to set up that other side, i had to put things out in phases too. cant wait to see the rest of the set up
