The sculpt and paint on this are so much more intricate than on the 1/12 Rexy. Wonder what happened with that one.

Is this even in hands yet? That vid is #1 or #0 IIRC.
Don't be giving them the benefit until we have cold hard proof.

They could be in Asian collector's hands by now yes. We are supposed to be getting them soon here in the US.

Saw a ?Movie Magic? vintage featurette on you tube and spotted this. Guess the paint job is based on this model.

This is a great piece. Unfortunately my statue-buying days are over but if I was still collecting, this would be on my list! Prime 1 Studios totally messed up their JP1 raptors so this is a great alternative for anyone wanting a more screen-accurate version.

Saw the first vid review and they had a few QC issues. Hopefully they all don't have that problem.

Yeah, it doesn't look quite as close to perfection as those earlier pictures suggested based on the First Nerd on the Right review.
Those QC issues on the base are also pretty unacceptable, and so is the alleged uneven wood.
I was actually hoping for the lower section section to be akin to the fake wood seen on their Rex base, no fan of organic materials on collectibles.
Well hopefully this was more of an exception, still excited for mine.
Even though, I just noticed there's no Stan Winston Studio logo nor mention of it on the plaque this time, unlike with the Rex. Makes sense as no SWS artist directly worked on this piece, but it sucks a bit to be honest as the Stan Winston pedigree is what should set these pieces apart from the rest.
