You probably are, you're just of the right mindset that giving yourself a lot of credit card debt on something as unimportant as comic book character statues isn't a good decision.

not only cost but display space as well. unless you have a ballroom or multiple rooms to put these in, this collection of niche characters is commanding the kind of space most of us are maxed out at

im guessing their 1:5 scale line was an experiment to see if thats a route they could take but it didnt work out

I?ve read the main stories and love the designs, but like hell I?m dropping 15k on this set.
Even the XM 1/4 set is $1,000 a pop, and I don?t like those designs nearly as much.

That's really too bad. I like that scale. Noticeably bigger than 1/6 but doesn't take up the space of 1/4 or 1/3 and they cost less. I bet if they had some better design choices then it would have done better.

Yep, my thoughts too.

If this was reasonably priced I'd consider picking it up as I do like it quite a lot.

At that price, it's a complete non starter.... So many other pieces I'd rather have (for less money).

I personally wasn't even really interested in buying this one. I mean it's cool, just not a design I'd buy.

It's just the overall downer that they just keep going up and up. And I mean it is what it is....I guess I just won't buy much if any at all anymore. It seems like $1,500 is getting to be the "baseline" 1:3 cost and after shipping/tax, you're right around $2,000 for just about anything now. It's just not justifiable.

And of course resale prices just soar up right along with it. It's absolutely insane that anyone who is selling the Hush Superman on eBay wants 3k+ for it.

I think this would look great with BWL, but I can't justify the price either. I have to be very selective, and my primary focus is Marvel so Queen Studios is getting most of my money these days.

I’m guessing the base has to do with the high price as well. You have a full Robin Crow and a couple of full torsos in there.
