Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The question is...will HMO pull it off better? I have both Mai statues from Kinetiquettes and HMO, and while the K version has a great portrait, HMO has a better overall execution. If I had to do it all over again I would only get the HMO version.

I’m sure it’s inevitable...when HMO announced their MAI, Kinetiquettes stole some of their thunder by beating them to the PO. They are both working on Capcom girls.

Oh I see. I really do love Artgem's portrayal of females and that Mai was one of the best statues in recent years for me. So this will be a no-brainer for me to purchase.
HMO sure won't disappoint in terms of quality. Always good to have an option especially since there is not a single good 1:4 Chun in her Qipao dress.

I wish Kinetiquettes had a better marketing department and made a huge deal about Artgerm being involved in this project. This forum is probably the only outlet I've seen (other than the little announcement on Artgerm's instagram) so far that mentioned this. And judging by this thread people either forgot about this line or don't care about this company. I bet when HMO finally does her this forum will be lit. Just look at the Felica thread with thousands of views.

Well every single company uses Artgerm so I don't know if it is even worth mentioning at this point

No idea, but I'd like to see her sooner rather than later. I'm also curious if they might do an Alpha variant.
