What legs seams is everyone talking about? She’s wearing thigh high boots. They look fine on her. Wish the ex was an unmasked portrait of her.

There are big seams but I'm pretty sure it's just a prototype thing. Seams are bad on the shoulders and even the whip at her right shoulder. Not like this is their first release, guessing they can figure it out in the next year.

My guess is for the ex they were thinking more of the villainous Catwoman who would fight, steal from or double cross Batman before she gave into feelings. I doubt they were thinking in terms of where this statue would fit into continuity, they just did their creative thing with it. “Let’s make a Catwoman that displays with the villains!” I’m guessing the thought was.

That's why I like it. I have gargoyle Catwoman with Batwoman and long cape Batman. This will go great on the other shelf with Freeze, new Harley, and new Bane.

It's a bit risky to pre order on the assumption that they will improve the seams though

There's seams on her legs, gloves and where the arms attach at the shoulders. It looks like a snap together model.

The legs seams can be played off as thigh high boots. The seam at the forearm can be explained as gloves. However, the one at the shoulder there is just no excuse. Also, on that close-up of her head/boobs - is it just me or does her head not seem to fit well. Look at the left side by the up-turned collar.

I do love the kitty cat. Super cute and well done with him rubbing on her leg. Catwoman's eye make-up is excellent too, but I don't believe we will get close to this look on the finished piece. She has obviously thicker winged lashes with eye shadow under. For speed, I would guess this eventually turns into one blob of something.

Oh and Selina never skips calf day. Wowza.

I had no intention of pre-ordering for quite a while so it's fine.

It's weird to assume Sideshow won't bother to fix obvious, simple fit problems in the production phase.

Agree. This feels like it was rushed. Not a fan. The Catwoman on gargoyle statue was MUCH better IMO.

Not weird when final products are rarely better than the proto

I think the seam problem comes from:
1. The edge of her thighs curve into her boots
2. The edge of the boots also have a curve which creates the appearance of a thick black line.
3. A better way would have been to sculpt the boots to look like they are over her thighs, not just meeting her thighs. If someone really wore these boots they’d cut off blood flow and be extremely uncomfortable. The boots might even bust open.



Demona I see the neck issue you’re referring to as well. Looks like her neck on that side is protruding from below her collar. Like a little neck shelf.



I’m wondering if that’s just an optical illusion.

I’m also not a fan of the red paint on her legs but not a huge deal to me. I prefer for them to not paint reflection highlights in most cases.
