I like the 1st movie.
I will probably like the 2nd movie, although Gaga might pull me out, as singers wanting to actor tends to fail more than it succeeds.
When singer Ed Sheeran showed up at the camp fire in Game of Thrones, and attempted to act, things got awkward.

She was ok. Not a patch on Barbra Streisand's performance in A Star is Born (1976)
Gaga sounded too professional from the get go. She is naturally an over the top person, which might work well, playing Harley.

Haha, but Sheeran was just a cameo. Gaga was nominated for the Best Actress oscar so her talent seems to extend into acting as well.

I find it odd that Harley is not Joker's shrink. The trailer makes me think the movie will be Natural Born Killers meets a Star is Born. Being a musical will make the movie more unhinged, I'm sure.

My impression from the trailer is that Joker & Harley are both in Arkham. And the “musical” part of the movie is them fantasizing it, and that it’s not reality. Also, obviously they escape from Arkham.
Just my thought.

Sequels are rarely in the same league as the original. This is one kooky, wacked out type of movie so who knows. I might check it out after a general consensus has been formed.
