Bro, I agree. For me, the two Guardians movies were just awful, slapstick, farcical disasters. When Star Lord started playing catch with Ego, his Dad, my son and I almost left the theater. I feel this gave Fiege license to allow Thor to become a joke, as well. I really feel the Russo Brothers delivered the goods with their films, though I didn't like Thanos’ being an eco-terrorist rather than a worshipper of Death, whereas Gunn completely mishandled his properties. I have little faith that Gunn will right the DCEU ship whose only decent film, in my opinion, was the first Wonder Woman.
