I wonder if the whole line isn't seen as that profitable, compared to other pieces? Or maybe non-comic properties get a better return? Or, once the "hot sellers" are made, there's less of a push for the (presumably) less-selling pieces? I can understand not wanting to flood the market, certainly ...
Then again, I'm an easy sell. The line (both Marvel & DC, as far as I'm concerned) is generally affordable & very well done for the $. There's a piece or two I'm not in love with (Jean Grey, for one), but generally speaking, if they're putting out, I'm buying. I recently did a fairly major purge (sold off about 1/4 to 1/3 of my stuff), but the only bishoujos I sold were variants (or the originals, if I preferred the variant). More please! She-Hulk?
