Yea, I'm guessing its the way the lower part of the dress sits in the styrofoam that causes the issue.

However, it's an issue I'm willing to fix on my own. Or at least try fixing it.

That all depends on what it's made out of. Some materials are a lot less forgiving if being bent back and forth in one spot.

Only way to find out is to try.

If mine arrives with that issue, I'd be willing to use a blow dryer to heat up that bent part and pull it back to shape. Once I have it at the right shape, I'd hold it in place until it cools. If it stays put, then I'm straight ...and I'll ask SSC for a discount. If the fix doesn't work, then i'd send it back for a replacement.

Oh ...and this is surprising. With the release of these production pics, I thought this was on schedule to be shipped this month.

Well, got the email this morning that it's being delayed til June.

If you tell SS that you attempted to fix it, don’t you think they will say the error came from you?

And given that SS has put these up as their chosen production pics, what do you think the odds are of them taking back any that look like this? They may just say it was and intended change.

I have no stock in this ad I didn’t order her, but if I did - I’d b contacting them now to ask why the production piece looks like that.

Forgot to mention, that normally when I attempt things like that I have SSC's blessing to try. I would've told them about the issue. If it doesn't work, they're normally willing to give me a replacement.

This is true... so long as you report the problem in advance, and they agree to your suggested fix, they will honor a return if it doesn't work, IME (Elektra, Sinestro, Lady death, to name a few for me).
