did anyone contact ssc about the missing primer on the statues? if they didn't know about it, they should be informed...
if they did know about it, they should know that we know it as well and maybe they'll stop skimping on things like that

I think they know.

I emailed them regarding the replacement and I told them about the primer. In their reply, they totally avoided the primer issue and tried to convince me that they are taking care of the problem.

Well they can take mine back while they are at it. Let's see what they say.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Well after a month and a half of owning this statue, I'm sadden to see three friggin' hairline cracks on the left thigh! So much for hoping not to have any cracks showing up. What a piss on my parade!

I'm on the waitlist for a body replacement and I have informed Ashley-SS rep about these statues having no primer which is probably the main cause of the paint cracks.

In case anyone is curious, my home is not humid, its cool since I have central air conditioning. These primer-less statues will eventually start cracking just give it time. It happened to me, a month and a half later. Its a kick in the head since I really like this statue and it was my first exclusive statue where I actually liked both portraits.

Any comment from Ashley regarding the lacking of primer?
