Actually I don't like it so much..the pose is kind of awkward (the legs remind me of Gouken) and the face doesn't look like Ryu's.
I definitely dig the first Ryu more.

Really digging this Ryu in his fighting stance. Will look good next to Sagat, Ken, and Gouken... Can't wait to PO this bad boy!!! guess I won't have to look for the first release as I prefer this pose much, much better.
I hope the EX isn't Evil Ryu ... I would prefer a new sculpt for that character. Or a mirror image of this sculpt in a player 2 stance just like the MK Classic ninjas.

Wow! This will be my first pcs statue for sure. I've always wanted a nice 1/4 scale ryu, but I passed on the original because it was ugly as hell. This on the other hand looks lincredible. I hope they redo more of their old street fighter stuff. I really thought ken cammy chun and especially akuma were week entries in the line. Actually up until sagat I had no interest in the line at all.
Any fellow Canadians ever order direct from pcs? How much do they usually charge for shipping?

I prefer the original. The new face doesn't look good to me, don't like it at all really. Wish it looked more like the bust.
