Anyone order the Frazetta Conan from kabuki, or know of anyone ordering and getting theirs yet, anxious to see how it turns out and to see how it measures up with the ARH version.

Looks like Tony Cipriano is sculpting Savage Peculiador and Frankenstein for Quarantine Studios licensed through Jr at the Museum. No idea on when will be available.

I will probably get them because 1) it's Frazetta and 2) love Cipriano's Frazetta work but man I wish they would do something more iconic and loved like Nightwinds or Silver Warrior. I just don't get some of these choices.

Frazetta silver warrior by Cipriano...in REELART snow giant scale would work for me price wise and size, I would be all in on that.

Maybe the licensing gets more expensive the more renowned the source piece.

Not Frazetta specific but curious on opinions of Frazetta fans. Are you getting or do you prefer the Quarantine Studios Dejah Thoris or the Sideshow version and why?

I like them both, but I am not getting either one. I simply have no room. I already have the Level 52 death dealer on preorder and saving room for any future Frazetta statues.

For me it is Quarantine' Dejah Thoris. I love that one, mainly because of the face and the upright position.

Tough. Sideshow's has more bombshell/cheesecake sex appeal and is larger scaled.

Quarantine's has more authenticity to the source material and fantasy vibe that Dejah usually belongs to though.
For example in your collection of fantasy and Frazetta Quarantine's seems like a natural fit. Sideshow's seems like it would be more "cartoony" in comparison.

One a more subjective view I don't like the face on Quarantine's. Not a plump youthful face that I would attribute the words usually used to describe Dejah. BUT the face still fits the sculpture and mood of the piece kinda like how Frank was so puzzled he had to ask if people thought he drew "big" women. He drew well endowed realistic women not nigh impossible absolute idealizations attempting to encompass every desirable trait.

So... I'm back to I dunno which but I like both and what I get from both is very different even if of the same character!

I like the face. I noticed to me it had a kind of an Angela Sarafyan vibe to it so I asked Ehren and he confirmed he mainly used the source art however with her head turned he had an "inspiration" folder to fill in the blanks and she was in that file. He estimates she had a 15% influence on it.
