As of now i compare everything to Fury of the beast as of SIZE=PRICE. Its the perfect example of a huge statue for a fair price.

Yes but that's rare. A female SS PF now goes for $429 and large PFs are $549-$599. Plus it's a 1/5th scale dio you're comparing to 1/4 scale dio. Don't get me wrong I'm pulling for the lowest possible price as well.

I will wait for the price. If is is $1k I will bet you the edition size will be closer to 500 than 150. We can each send $100 bucks to a mod via paypal to hold on to for us.
And, there is far more to determining the cost of a statue than just the size.

Sideshows darkrider was $700.00 1/4 scale rider and steed...that seemed fair to me considering the detail of that...though the base was small and tight on that statue, that also had a LOTR licensing fee.

I think that is a fair comparison as well . Hope you are right buddy.
But if we are talking about the same one I just checked on SS website and it is $800?

Just to address any concerns about the proportions of the horse - if anything, I actually made the horse larger compared to the painting. What you are looking at below is a zbrush overlay of my sculpt on top of the painting. When I felt comfortable with with rough in zbrush, I printed it (on my printer) and then made waste molds to recast in wax. This also gives me the ability to check my measurements in exact scale to the painting. I actually slightly cheated the length of legs as the hooves are partly buried in the base. I think if there appear to be issues with proportions it is almost entirely due to the effect of lens distortion with my camera. Its extremely difficult to photograph this sculpt at this size. If I wanted to, I could zoom in on the horse and make the rider look like a midget. lol But at this point the Frazetta family has approved the rough sculpt of the horse. The helmet is another matter. lol
