I think it’s legit. The designs look like they have slightly changed from Amelia’s headshot designs from a while back that are on her IG/art station. Also, I highly doubt a Marvel official would have this on their page if it wasn't legit.

Yeah I don't doubt the source. The only reason I even suggested it is because that '97 layered onto the image looks so amateurish

It’s true. Almost like they were just going to reboot and then decided to avoid torches and pitchforks and said “97”.
I’m going to say it now, if the theme song is the same and opening is almost (if not the same), I may tear up. No shame in this childhood game.

I never watched this cartoon regularly but I have seen it and if they are picking it up from where the left off to some extent, I think that would be great. Too many times I think with comics that they try to reinvent the wheel and if the wheel was fine to begin with, then just leave well enough alone. If you look at James Bond films, they were never rebooted from the beginning, they just continued.
The X-Men cartoon was obviously well produced enough (and definitely has a very dedicated fanbase) that from the episodes that I have seen to start brand new is not needed.

Is it bad to ask them to improve the animation?
Character design was always cool, but always thought the animation could be better. Thought the art could be better too.
