Shazam! 2

Shazam! 2 - April 1, 2022

I was surprised to find out that they were going to make a sequel with the same cast... I didn't think they made enough money to justify a sequel... Although that April 1st opening day makes me wonder

I wonder when they say a film grossed a certain amount of money does that include rental fees from On Demand or Redbox or DVD sales or online download sales? I was a little surprised about that myself but after watching Shazam last week I am glad a sequel is coming out. It was just a fun movie.

Keep in mind it is lower budget and WB could be betting on growth as the original was received pretty well.

Personally I'm thrilled and hope we get more of the Shazam family. With Black Adam movie coming pretty much guaranteed a Shazam 3 for them to collide.

I really liked Shazam. The only thing I didn't care for was the muscle suit. I don't know why that was needed. At least not to such a noticeable extent.

I liked Shazam also. Not the best film in any superhero franchise but by far not the worst. I thought it was definitely a better than average film and did capture the innocence of the character.

The only thing I did not like was the change they made to Billy Batson's parents. That was not needed.

Only weeks away. Fearing it will bomb, but I'll find time to see it.

The Big Red Cheese. (: I like Captain Marvel. Do you know that Captain Marvel was the biggest Super Hero of the 1940s, even out selling Superman.

My first introduction to Captain Marvel in comics was Kingdom Come. Superman vs Captain Marvel fight in it was just so big, it was epic. I liked the First Film, it was certainly not bad. I am looking forward for the Second Film.
