With this piece, I decided not to take anymore chances, so got on the wait list for the regular. The way I see it, you spend a lot of money on these, and sure, maybe you used to be able to find them for cheaper if you were lucky on the bay, but now as they are so popular, they instantly go up in price because the pieces are sold out before they even start shipping, so collectors are hungry to get them on ebay and sellers/flippers know it!

So I realise you might as well go through Sideshow, because if things screw up during transit, they sound like great guys who will replace any damaged items. So its a win win deal. I still wasnt sure about doing it though, but thought, this piece looks awesome, lets see if I can get on the wait list.

Sure enough, I havent heard any more, but I did receive the email stating that if I did nothing I would be set for this piece as people had cancelled etc. So Im just waiting in the UK to hear when its going to come.

Because of this piece, Ive already put myself down for the Hulk PF next year and probably going to hit the Magneto and SS Ghost Rider if possible.

Iron Man looks fantastic, and Im more of a modern IM guy anyways, having loved the shortlived but fantastic Extremis arc, so this will be a perfect addition to my growing 1/4 scale collection - hands down for me, especially after Azog's wicked review and stunning pics, the best Iron Man out there.

Azog, outstanding review all the way around. What a spectacular piece. It does the Golden Avenger supreme justice!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I'd encourage anyone that decided to pick up this piece based off of Azog's review to try the Sideshow waitlist. Most of the online stores that were going to carry this are long since sold out and I'd fear allocation from Diamond.

I put myself on the waitlist about a month ago for the regular version (didn't care for the Tony Stark head) and it came through. Iron Man arrives Tuesday.
