I still feel uneasy about POing the DXS, let alone going all in on every piece they parade around to us. If they knock the 1/3 out of the park, different story… and I’ll start putting more faith in their products

I'm just glad Secret Compass asked for such a low deposit on the full statue. No qualms cancelling and losing $300 if it starts to ship in Asia and looks like crap.

I wonder if SC's low deposit was due to the high number of orders they anticipated. For something like this bust, which is much more controversial, they'd probably have to ask more up front. Guess we'll see.

Pricing is absurd. But what’s even crazier is that even the masked busts are $900 and I’m pretty damn sure those won’t require such an intricate paint job. Simply ridiculous.

The price is absolutely ridiculous. While I understand this is a very detailed bust, Queen Studios is selling their LIFE size Spider-Man bust for less.

So pretty much all they've managed to do with this bust is cause people to 2nd guess the main statue? Great move.
So to get it ALL it would be the DXS =$2,900 + All busts 4X900 = $2,700 for $5,600 before any shipping or other shenanigans?

Just on pricing alone Prime 1 has set such high expectations on this that no one will be satisfied with anything less than what they see no matter how experienced or realistic they claim to be.

There would be no reason to get all 4 busts as you'd already have 2 of the heads. You at most would want the battle damage and closed mouth.

You wouldn't get all four busts if you ordered the DXS, so it would be more like $3900 with the closed-mouth portrait and $4800 with the battle-damaged mask. Still obscene.

The price of this bust doesn't affect my opinion of the main statue. It still comes with a ton of switch-outs and will be glorious.

However, $900 for a 1/3 bust is crazy. I honestly thought that this would be around $500-600--which I wouldn't have had any problem paying. I don't know if they're trying to recoup money from what they're possibly losing for adding in more accessories to the full 1/3 Predator statue after it went up for preorder, but I don't see how it's possible that this will cost more than $1000 shipped.

15" is bigger then I expected and I get where he's coming from a bust like this is basically the most complicated part of the predator. But still I don't want to pay $900 for basically a head.
