$890 for the Rex eye, that's steep. People balked at the price tag on the 1/12 maquette, but that was a better deal.

Yeah those ECC prices.. not a fan at all.
The entire life-size Raptor head from Chronicle was around that price originally, ECC charging a similar amount for one eye alone would be hilarious.
But this was one of my favorite pieces announced and I'm a big fan of Hinderstein, not only he's an amazing artist but also a super cool and friendly dude. I just have to get this.
And even though I strongly dislike the pricing as it's unlikely the final product will live up to Hinderstein work, it's still a better deal than that Hatching T-Rex to me.
