Elvis - 7/10. Second half was much better than the first. Austin Butler was absolutely phenomenal as Elvis. I did not like Tom Hanks in this film at all.

Wow - it’s hard to imagine not liking Tom Hank’s performance in anything. Even when a movie is overall terrible he usually on point.

Have you seen it?

I wasn't the only person I know that said this. The person I went with also didn't like him, and my dad later told me he didn't either.

EDIT: Just Googling it, seems there are a bunch of actual news sites saying the same thing.

I think it is Tom Hanks' forced and really off putting attempt at the accent more than anyting.

Not yet, I want to because the actor playing Elvis looks to be excellent. And I love the music, myth, and story that is Elvis. I can?t believe he died at 42. I mean that?s how old I am now!

But I will be sure to let you all know my thoughts on Tom Hanks in it. I?m fascinated he is widely panned for this. Interesting indeed.

You should, it's a good movie. As I said before, Austin Butler killed it. IMO, he deserves an Oscar nomination.

Terror on the Prairie - 7/10
Elvis - 8/10
Top Gun - 10/10
Usually long awaited sequels are bad, but this one was epic.

Everything Everywhere All At Once
9/10
This was the first movie I paid to rent in I don't know how long. It was fantastic! I am only taking away one point because I think this could have easily been PG-13 and still been just as good. No need for the cursing.

Les vampires (1915) - An intrepid reporter and his loyal friend battle a bizarre secret society of criminals known as The Vampires.

I watched this serial to get some background on the current Irma Vep series on HBO. The story has twists here and there and some humor--still entertaining considering it's over 100 years old. 8/10
