This show is serious as a heart attack...does a good job making you feel the weight of what is at stake for those involved. It was great to see Coruscant and Mon Mothma again.

I loved seeing the inner workings of the empire scenes.

Same. Have to watch them at least 3 times to make it all the way through awake. Hoping this changes.

First 2 episodes were a yawner. Ep 3 was much better. 4 was back to a yawner.

Haven't watched any yet but I have been thinking lately about how modern audiences have no patience. Watch shows and movies even from just the 80s and they would take the time for exposition and build up which the absence of makes it nearly impossible to have much of a payoff.

Like ST Next Generation for example. It is so revered (by myself included) but so many episodes move at a snail's pace and many entire episodes are snooze-fests. But those same episodes build character, story, plot, and are what make the big episodes meaningful. Best of Both Worlds would not be half of what it is without the 3 seasons before it.

Not that that is necessarily what the outcome will be here but I hope so.

Love TNG. Imaging watching one episode of TNG, broken up over an entire season. That is what Andor, much like today's programming is like.

It's true. People used to be able to memorize entire books, well before the 20th century. Whatever they're doing, is working.

After a while, you get bored of pop culture, like - really, in general. I may check through those 5 minute show recaps on youtube, with no care at all at investing into another property again. Fandoms today are cesspools.

I really did not like Reva....until about 3/4 of the way through. Her story picked up a lot then and I actually got to like her a little bit. The lines and direction she was getting for the first half stunk. Was like they got a different writer and director at that point. Still waiting for this to happen with Cassien. Not noticing anything wrong director wise in this one but the writing they have for him just isn't pulling me in.
