Weta Dalek is here
Well, it was a bit of a wait, but it was sure as hell well worth it.
The sculpt detail is amazing and the paint work is great, even tho mine a couple of very minor issue, but thats generally out of site anyway.
One thing that doesn't come out in the pics, is the wet, gooey, sticky look of the Kelad mutant. You could swear it would just stick and ooze off your finger, while at any moment a drip could fall down off a tentacle.
Here's a couple of very early pics, best I can do right now due to no sunlight and need to use a flash.

What are the marks on the base supposed to be though?

Looks very nice for what it is, but personally I'd rather have a non opened dalek myself, that's just me though. Congrats though, and thanks for the pics.

Its very hard to see due to the Dalek covering up the base, but the whole base is in fact covered with a snap shot of the original background pattern used in the openning titles for Doctor Who (classic series).
When I get a chance, I'll take a better pic of just the full base, without the dalek sitting on top.
Devo, that won't help, they can fly, so stairs won't stop them
