I say go for it. You can get them dirt cheap on eBay. I paid $140.00 for mine which later turned into FREE.

This is one of the most underrated statue in this market.
The actual sculpt is amazing.

What makes this piece dirt cheap is the movie.
there're many like me that don't care about this movie AT ALL.
Watched it in the theater and cried to sleep that night regreting I should never wasted that precious 3 hours of my life...

It wasnt the movie being "bad" that made this not sell so well, it's the edition size that didnt meet the demand simply because there arnt enough Kong lovers who want to make this investment period.

rider, if you really feel that way about the movie you're really missing out on something amazing because the movie was freaking brilliant.

And you cant get it for $100... no where that I've seen. It's still cheapest on the bay for about $140 with $40 shipping.

Yeah blah blah balh, you're entitled to your opinion and I am to mine, I didn't even say the movie was "bad", just not good enough.
And I'm not picking a fight here since I'm a sissy man, you don't have to tell me how good, brillaint it was or try to prove your point.
All I want to say is there's nothing brillant about that movie, no one in our family even bother to rent it when it came out on DVD.

I liked the movie a lot, the effects were great. I admit all the Kong films take far too long to get to Kong.
