Could be that they came from Ikon Collectibles.

I don't believe there's much of any difference between Popcultcha and Ikon's. I was under the impression that they're pretty much under the same control structure (Ash Howard and the rest of his extended family). With one being the retail outlet and the other acting as wholesaler.

I would imagine any spare stock held in Ikon's would relatively quickly be transferred over to Popcultcha, rather than holding it for nearly 6 months under Ikon's inventory system, hoping a third-party retailer would order a few units.
