I agree.

The only one that was well received was their Aquaman but I personally felt that they made his complexion way too dark anyway.

Looks nice. The pose is more natural than Prime1. In terms of detail and paint it does not compare to Weta. Also, his hand position holding the staff is too close to the tip. Imo would look better if it's somewhere in the middle.

I just pulled the trigger and PO'd this QS Darkseid & Weta Superman Black Suit.

Cool Easter egg about these 2 statues:
Supes' base has Steppenwolf's broken horn and Darkseid's base has Steppenwolf's head. I think they will both display well together. ��

I'm astonished the lack of excitement for this one. A 29 inch tall Darkseid from a fan favorite movie design under 1k. I was hesitant about the mid crush of the head but seeing this painted it's kinda glorious. Not only does it go fantastically with the Weta Superman above it pars well with QS own 1:4th Wonder Women. Overall outstanding piece.
