1/3 scale is fine, if somewhat expensive compared to other companies.
On the subject of 1/3 scale, they should make sure their 1/3 matches that of Prime 1, PCS to name a few, as some have suggested, the JND idea of 1/3 is at the smaller end.

I'd actually like to see what they can do at 1:2 scale
I don't think it's reasonable to expect JND to factor in the size of competitors pieces to make their own products desirable. Sure, this might be a boon for collectors, but ultimately unworkable for JND. As long as they offer "true" scaling according to the actor's height, then it's irrelevant what the competition is doing.

You can ask the same question maybe in two years again otherwise it seems pointless.

I disagree. Making what everyone else is making reduces their chances of commercial success. Think about it, if they make a Batman, and charge $2000....now there are a lot of Batman statues out there, and (believe it or not) most collectors have a limited amount of disposable income.....So, there is a huge chance that most people who want Batman, have it from the competition.....why spend $2000 to buy ANOTHER Batman?
In my opinion, the only benefit to making what everyone else has made, is to showcase how you can do it better. Now people can compare your products to the competition, and you can make a name.....but they could / should spend time and energy making things the others don't / can't make.......this is where they could really shine.
A great example is Blitzway. I mean, in a world of Spider-Man, Hulk, et al. who would expect a statue of Marilyn Monroe or Basic Instinct?? There is a market for these products.
