Up for auction is a very rare unpainted gray resin pre-production sample of Frazetta's Conan the Barbarian sculpted by Clayburn Moore. Well known to statue collectors all over the world, this Frank Frazetta/ Clayburn Moore collaboration captures all the beauty and power of the original legendary painting. This special unpainted resin was produced by the factory at Moore's request, for review prior to paint application for the edition.
NOTE: This is the version of the statue where the woman is clothed. Statue stands approximately 14" tall including wood base. This piece is signed on the base by Clayburn Moore and will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity. Some assembly required. Comes in a full color collectors box, which is in good condition. Wood base has what appears to be a seam line, which is not very noticeable when the statue sits on the base (see photo.)
Few of these unpainted resins were produced, so this is a rare opportunity to own a very special version of an incredible sculpture. Perfect for custom painters!
