That is a fantastic cover.

I want to like that costume however for some reason it just doesn’t do it for me. Now I definitely think Storm has had a lot worse costumes than that (Extrordinary X-Men outfit for one). . I think what I don’t like is how the cape drapes over the shoulders it just looks to be very awkward and I think I would rather see her wear her traditional head dress and not just a band.

However I guess I would rather see this outfit in a statue form then yet another Jim Lee outfit in the statue form. To me storm should have an outfit that makes her look very regal and I just don’t think this one quite does it. Now maybe if there was a slight adjustment or two to this outfit I would like it more

But regardless I am very anxious not only to see the statue but just to see what marvel has planned for her since they said this would be a very big year for her

I’m a fan of the X-Men Red/Krakoa costume.

I’m excited for Planet Size X-Men as well. Looks like it could be real progression on these Hickman stories. The previews show Isca and what appears to be other mutants from Arakko and says other Omega Level mutants will be introduced. Arakko’s council is Omega mutants only unlike the Krakoan council so I’m guessing that’s who we’ll be meeting. I’m always ready to see Storm and Jean actually portrayed at their Omega levels…Storm’s been doing GREAT lately, Jean’s been extremely downplayed this entire run.

As our wait continues - let’s keep discussing comics where she is wearing a much better outfit that her 90s Lee suit.

Storm at the moment appears to also be a big part of the new Black Panther run. I have very mixed feelings about this. I’m fine with her helping Wakanda, I just don’t want her staying there.

And you’re right Peedi, we might finally be addressing that nugget where Hickman said to make more omega mutants!!

MMK123 - it took me sometime to come around to the suit Storm is wearing now. So I totally understand your dislike Now though, I’m a real big fan!! It’s one of my fave looks for her.
