The Omega red is a tough paint up, when I gave a quote on one the guy quickly found someone else to do it for half of my price.

I wouldn't charge a whole lot cus I'm not totally pro at it like you are, I still have a lot to improve on.

Really? well you sure make it look easy. What are airbrush are you using? I have the hardest time doing the fine line shading.

I have 3 different air brushes, the sotar 20/20 for fine detail, I have a badger 100g fine tip for spraying laquers and candy coating, then a 100g medium tip I use for base coating.
the tricks are lowering air pressure and thinning your shading colors with alcohol so it doesn't go on so thick.

yeah I've thinned it out quite a bit but it never seems to give me a great fine line, when I do it on paper it works just fine but when I do it on a figure it seems to not work as well.

when I am trying to do a thin line I turn my pressure down to about 5psi

I go anywhere from5 -18 and whatever works best
