I must correct myself.
The TOP eyelashes are REAL. I used my phone camera to zoom in while I picked at them with a tooth pick and they are ?real? eyelashes on the top, but painted on the bottom.
I honestly thought they were painted but nope, real eyelashes.
It makes all my other statues look bad lol. All the ones I see the eyelashes are supposed to look like there is makeup on them so they are just a black, formless blob.
I already love this statue but this just brings it up a tad bit higher.

Yep...i knew it was synthetic....it lhad a very 3D effect that caught my eyes right away... i didnt remember reading about mixed media on the face details so i checked again on BBTS and ye...no indication of this....so this would be an extra treat then

That's the kind of mixed media I can get on board with

As Silas mentioned a good repaint could really do wonders..
I agree with both of you this thing needs a repaint, but I am not gonna spend another dime on this.
Prime 1 should have kept it close to the prototype, especially since they delayed it for so long.

If a company delays then it better be damn good but to release this IMO a huge downgrade.
I've seen so many images on here but I don't see the resemblance.
I just looked at that close up eye shot, wow synthetic eyelashes.. but the eyes are dead and dull horrible paint job.

Man my first P1 what a F*** up of a job.
Hope infinity studio picks this up perhaps they can do a better job

The eyes look very matte or perhaps it's the light.
In the prototype it looked incredible like glossy glass eyes.
can you confirm wether or not they are matte or gloss ?

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I just have to ask, what other statues do you own that you think have good paint jobs and look like the actors/actresses?

I just don't get the complaints about the paint and sculpt. I think she looks great and is very, very close to the prototype.

None I am just very critical,
Only statue I own is Catwoman by tweeterhead, and for the price it is very nice! I also have DEET by Weta workshops bu that doesnt count.

I do have Mera by JND on PO because they at least release products exactly like the prototype.
Look at their catwoman it looked god awful when I saw the prototype and they delivered that exact awful portrait

Their latest Wonder woman that was announced recently... her portrait looks off yet a half of the FB group seems to love it.
Perhaps I am too critical, or I have a very good eye.

I am looking at the eyes and I see several things, eye lash looks like they glued it on the eye ball, I think I see a line of glue right on the top of the eyeball, also the last pic he showed the eyes and it looks like a matte finish....i mean they are eyes...They HAVE to be glossy.

Adding some gloss to eyes is very easy to do. Just use some Mod Podge gloss. It dries clear.

For 1400 bucks that should be their job.
I'll see what the statue look like and give it an honest rating in terms of likeness and quality of the piece.
Will use Mod Podge if the eye paint is matte finish
