Hell Raiser (2022) 7/10. Not as good as the first two but better than all the others
Halloween Kills. 4/10. Only way it could have been worse is if Julia Robert?s had been in it

Werewolf by Night: 7/10
Ok if this was 2010 this would get 6/10. Not bad at all, not outstanding either. Since there hasn’t been good Marvel content in a while I’ll give it an extra point.

Black Christmas (1974) - 8.5/10 Very, very creepy. I'm surprised how much I really loved this.
Black Christmas (2006) - 4/10 Pretty awful remake.
Hellraiser (2022) - 8/10 Really solid reimagining. I wanted a touch more Pinhead and the signature black leather back, but it was a good film.

Beast - 6/10 - Idris Elba takes on a lion. A bit of Jaws, Jurassic Park and Cujo. Not the worst type of movie in this vein.
Last Seen Alive - 6/10 - Gerard Butler does his Kurt Russell impression from Breakdown (husband loses his wife, and must find her).
The Grey Man - 6/10 - Frustrating movie to watch. I just don’t get Ryan Gosling. Chris Evans is delightfully over-the-top as the bad guy. Fight logistics ran the gamut from decent to WTF.

Werewolf by Night 10/10 wow, this was better than I was hoping it would be. Having grown up watching the black and white horror movies, they perfectly captured the look and feel. For all those complaining about Marvel just doing the same movie over and over again, this is the movie for you.

Green Room (2015) - A punk rock band is forced to fight for survival after witnessing a murder at a neo-Nazi skinhead bar.
Pleasure (2021) - Bella Cherry arrives in Los Angeles with dreams of becoming an adult film star, but she soon learns that fame won't come easy as she harnesses her ambition and cunning to rise to the top of this mesmerizing and singular world.
I'm not sure which of these was more disturbing. 7/10 for both.

I know some might find it sacrilegious to rate a remake higher than the original, but I have to be honest, the 2003 remake is one of my favorite horror movies of all-time. It's scarier than the original, more gruesome, and contains better acting. I also found the remake's Leatherface much more terrifying than the more childish/comical Leatherface in the original.

2003 all the way!
