I guess, but when it comes to futbol I have to go with the ancestral homeland. It would be nice is the USA made some sort of impact so I will be rooting for them as well.

my country has never been any good, but we're big fans of the sport, so i had to settle for rooting for neiborgh countries. so i'm always behind south american teams, i've been rooting for brazil and argentina since i have memory.

Wales havent been in the world cup since 1958 (when a 17 year old Pele scored his world cup debut goal against us in the quarter finals) so I am supporting England. When Scotland, Republic of Ireland or even Northern Ireland make it into the major tournaments I root for them as well. We almost qualified for USA 94 but havent had a sniff since
