Lytro Light Field Camera 8MB Electric Blue Unboxing

I ordered this in hopes of getting it on time for San Diego Comic Con plus I am going to Las Vegas after that. Good thing is that it just showed up today. Bad thing is, that I don't have a Mac and they are still working on the Windows software. So I will have the opportunity to take photos, but it may be a while before I can share them.

If you are not familiar with the Lytro light field camera, go to Lytro.com and check it out.

Simple Box. Very Mac-like in style.

Bottom of the box.

Tada! There's a camera in the box. Who would have thunk it.

Folded instructions below

Back of the camera has a touch screen. Shutter button on top.

On the bottom is the USB 2.0 port and the power button. Loop for the included wrist strap is on the side.

Instruction sheet.

Contents of the lower box, from left to right: magnetic lens cap, USB 2.0 cable approx. 3 ft, Microfiber cleaning cloth, legal stuff and the wrist-strap.

With the cap and strap installed.

I remember seeing the original prototype/sales pitch demos with these things, forgot that they were already being made. Don't they not hold many photos though due to the large file size?
